As the inventor of the electric handheld drill, FEIN has been developing innovative and unbeatably efficient solutions for practical applications for 140 years. Core drilling is an extraordinary economic procedure for the realization of large capacity holes in the fastest way possible and with high precision – also for thick materials. Whether core drilling, full drilling, tapping or reaming – all work steps can be carried out in one go without changing the workpiece. No wrenches, no need to change the drilling position or re-centering – for example, when you are drilling and then want to cut a thread straight after. FEIN Quick- IN is 4 times faster at core drill changes than a Weldon fitting. The FEIN Quick IN offers other benefits too: your current core drills and accessories with M 18 x 6 or Weldon fittings can still be used via an adapter. Mechanical two-speed gearbox with continuously variable electronic speed reduction means optimum cutting speed for drilling, tapping, reaming and countersinking. Continuously adjustable double dove-tail guide enables the use of long drilling tools without removing the machine from the workpiece. Core drilling is an extremely efficient process: faster, quieter and more accurate than twist drilling. And since core drilling requires no pre-drilling or retooling, the time needed for the job can be cut by up to around 40 % – in the plant and on the building site. FEIN core drilling units are noted for their powerful HIGH POWER MOTOR providing sustained power, their optimum power/weight ratio, and compactness. The magnetic feet are sized such that the machines can be used in the smallest space possible and even for overhead work.

The world’s first hand-guided metal core drilling system, the FEIN KBH 25, combines the benefits of powerful hand drills and carbide tipped core drills in one. The new drilling technology enables a high level of work progress, allowing you to perform core drilling up to 5 times faster with significantly less effort. FEIN KBH 25 even displays its strengths in tight, hard-to-access spaces. The product is the result of FEIN’s years of experience and huge development advantage as the inventor of the electric drill. Hand-guided core drilling can now be undertaken over long periods with little feed force – thanks to a special cutting geometry and small core drill cutting width. The process uses very low contact pressure when starting to drill and the feed force applied during drilling is equally low. This results in great work progress and therefore saves both time and money. A newly developed drilling technology ensures that the centring drill is only used for as long as necessary with the metal core drill system FEIN KBH 25. In order to absorb the lateral forces produced during subsequent core drilling, the centring drill makes a approx. 6 mm deep hole to ensure it is fixed as required in the work piece. As of a centring drill cutting depth of approx. 6 mm, the carbide core drill encounters the material and the centring drill is disconnected. This means that all the feed force goes directly into the carbide core drill and operators can enjoy good work progress for little effort.
Benefits for you when working with the FEIN KBH 25:
